Happenings...

This few weeks have really been a very fast and furious weeks for me...

let me start, today is the first day of the term test week, which means that in a few days time i will be taking my final term test paper for PMT...haiz...all had been going on too fast and i got a feeling that there is still so much for me to learn from this subject....

There are something else that have been going on and it is the moving on of the 3 people who have been given a lot of fun and learning and really showed God's love...These people are none other than Ser meng, Kar chun and my dearest farmo, Pei xin...

honestly, all these changes have been happening too fast, all within this 1 month...and now i am leading alone in my caregroup, being put in new environment and so much new changes....

I really want to take this time to really thank them individually....

For Kar chun, really thanks for accomodating to my crap every single time i talk to you...sometimes i'm really forceful in my words and really hurts you....but u never once took it out and vent if back at me...you are really someone who shows that a guy can really go all out for another brother and really love him....i'm really inspired by the things u do and the kind of role model and standard u have set....it will be hard not to miss your presence in the guys unit....i know that God will definitely use u in ways that will stretch and cause you to mature...and eventually fulfill your true purpose....i also believe that your role in guys' ministry have not ended but just started, so continue to fan your passion for the guys in the poly group and come back to make more impact...k? =D

For Pei xin, i'm really grateful for all the times you have given grace to me, even though i don't deserve it...you have really guide me to become more mature and wise and more christ-like...and this is not just because u taught me alot of teachings, but also because you are one yourself, someone who is christ-like, who is so close to God's heart. I have really learnt alot from you and hope that you will continue to make an impact in the lives of those who surrounds you, and also those who have walked past, like how apostle peter made an impact as he walked along the streets after Jesus' ascension. I really treasure you alot, despite of so many conflicts i have with you...finally...i wan to say...I LOVE YOU FARMO!!! thanks for being my shepherd for 1 plus year..

Finally for ser meng, i dont really know where to start...all i can say is that you moving on really made me think twice about my leadership...you have always been my support and the person i can turn to for a listening ear...you know, even though i said i would like to lead alone someday, but your absence really made me feel quite inadequate...you really mean alot to me, even though u might not hear it from my mouth....i'm really glad that i had this chance to serve together with you...i can really see the amount of impact you made to our people and how much they want to be like you...to follow your spirit...i hope that you will not give up this race but continue to run strongly....rise up to be someone who leads more people to know Christ...you are capable!! I believe in you bro!!! lastly...I love you man!!! so see you at the end of the race k??

It is true that all of a sudden those who are close to my heart have move on to their respective stage of life...but i trust that God has a better plan and a better purpose for them...and i will continue to pray for them...so do pray for me too!!

It really seems like my week is getting better, but the truth is that it is the building up of a very terrible week....term test!!!

Anyway...this week have been quite challenging, because of the amount of things to do and accomplish, like my few assignments submission, lab reports, not to mention quizzed, and the stress of leading alone for the next few weeks....haizz...

This sat is my church special service, and i'm playing bass...it is really challenging...even though i have already played a few times, but for some reason every single time i stand on stage, i can feel the shiver...

It is also hard on all the actors and the ppl who are involved in the production...i have faith that God will definitely be present...Jia you all the drama peeps, PSPT people, decor, sound, mm, lights, musios, singers, worship leaders...etc...

Tml i will be having GMP quiz, and it is really going to be nerve-racking because i really have no confident in doing well...pray for me peeps!!

In a few weeks time...................changes.............i'm waiting.....................=d

Yesterday was fun and interesting because I spent my night time with Lionel...hahaa...he is really a nice brother to hang out with...

These past few days have been quite a struggle for me, because of the fact that this is going to be my last year in TP...I really wanna do my best, especially in my academics...

But the truth is that i have been quite reluctant to go to school and to read thru my notes and research materials...in the end, i still did...thank God for the strength to do that...

I managed to survived the week...week 2 is gone...5 more weeks till the end of alot of things...next week is the launch of the BPT project...haiz...

Today went to school, had a shocked of my life when i realized that Kiki and jenifer is no longer in my PMT assignment group....in the end after much discussion with the lecturer, it went back to the same grouping....anyway...know my cGMP project group le...initially xiang jie wanted to change group with me, but wallace lim didn't allow...but it is still ok with the group...kairos, shobana, rachael and mei hui...going to have fun i believe!! hahahaa!!!

Heya Jan!!! thanks for the gifts!! really appreciate it (sry for being so thick-skinned)...i think the book on 'Leadership Excellence' was really something i really needed....thanks my good and permanent fren!!! you rock my socks off!!!

Anyway...project meets are starting soon, this upcoming fri will be the e-sports competition...gonna expect alot of frens and new frens to be made too....=D

What a week!!

Honestly speaking, this week was really screwed...there were alot of miscommunications in school and alot of class were cancelled. If you think that this is what make it bad, you're wrong!! This were the ones that make it so much better...

The workload for the individual subject is really terrifying and i cant imagine myself surviving this sem...the lecturers were fine, but the subject is really too unexplainbly hard!!

anyway, this week I'm playing for service, really pray that God will move, not just in the people's hearts but also in my hands...heehee...=P

Heard about the few new things that are about to happen, like the appointing of new sheeps and shepherds....I hope that the people involve will take the opportunity to grow and know God more...All the best ya!?!

I think i'm going to start bloggin more le...being said that i'm too deep and serious...haha...but appreciate that very particular fren...=)

Heya peeps!!!

I think that these few weeks have really been a busy week for me, that is why i didn't really post anything on my blog. Anyway...yesterday we have another new brother joining us...welcome to this family Bjorn (pronounced as b-yorn)...PTL!!!

These past few weeks have really been sorta tough because the amount of things to complete...even though I'm in holidays...

Just saw my timetable...it is FABULOUS!!!! FRI NO SCHOOL for the first half sem!! YAY!!

Anyway, i was thinking of working at starbucks...or at least work at some place i will like to...

Honestly....i want to buy a bass...trusting in God for it ba...heehee!!

Holidays

Yay!! holidays is great!!!

I think i didnt really appreciate holidays until after this sem....due to the hectic and the super duper packed semester, this holidays seems to be like a really good and well-earn break....just hope that i dont get any supp paper (which i highly suspect that i might get for PMic)....

Anyway, had a super long and enjoyable shepherding with Ben Tan on Mon....after eating and teaching at the Bras Bersa Mac, we went to bugis junction there to watch 'Marley & Me'...this show is really a 4/5 rated movie...let me explain...even though the story plot is quite simple and predictable, but the content and the whole buildup of the story is really great, with a extraordinary ending that has a touching humor to it....best movie this year...=)

I shepherded Liky today....i really enjoy the times we had, with alot of randomness and opinions that are just not really linked to the teaching most of the times...but we still made it through....i seriously enjoy the fellowship....hehheh...i wonder how it will be like in the next few weeks....hmmm....

After showering today, i tried imagining myself as a blind person, closing my eyes and just felt my way through my bathroom to my bedroom....i realized that im quite color blind in my imagination...other than that, i think as i imagine myself as being a blind person, i came to realize that i have take my very eyes for granted...i could have done so much more with this ability to see...to show compassion and love to those who needs it...

i guess God can really speak through weird ways....hehheh...

BPharm and rest...

I think i had this very weird habit that started out ever since i came into Poly....after every term test or exams, i would go home and sleep for around 2-3 hours....and it only happens during term test and exams, not quiz or any other things....

I think my physiological system has this weird mechanism that does that....

Anyway, BPharm paper was easier than expected, and that is really what i think.....and seems like alot of people had the same thought as well....thanks to Ms Hor and her weird way making us think that the exam paper is going to be a killer paper....just pray that i can pass my overall...*finger crossed*

Today was combined service and it was really cool, except for the fact that the sound that produced during the P&W is terrible, cause it is TOO LOUD!!!! it is distracting to a certain extent....hmmmm...

Anyway...after the service, Nel asked the whole TP district whether we want to go to the Christian pub at Singapore Flyer...in the end guess what.....the whole district agreed and went with her....

Actually me and my group wanted to go there to celebrate mark's bdae few weeks ago (Sorry Mark!!...T.T)...

After reaching there, due to the crowd and space contraints, we went to popeyes instead....we really had a great time at the popeyes and then went back to the pub....stayed there for a while....i shared a jug of tiger beer with Ben Tan, Chan & Joel...it is really cool...nice place to chill too....heehee...

Enjoyed myself alot!! But i think the alcohol at such late hours adds on to the acidity of my gastric, thus causing stomachache...i ate antacids and felt better (OMGosh!!! IPT knowledge!!!)....

before i go, i want to say this....my attitude that day did not suck....i was just tired and even smiled!... just ask around, and i DID said THANK YOU alot of times....sometimes you really hurt people who are around you intentionally, maybe becos u despise us or what....but i think u need to know that we DONT owe you anyth...so stop treating us like dirt and take us for granted when u have no company....thanks you fren!

Giving Thanks

I think people have been saying about how hard it is to give thanks to God when things are going fine and smooth....but i think for me, that is sth different...

Honestly, im not trying to be unique or special (because i already am...hehheh!!)...but the truth is that during this few weeks, it hadn't been smooth or good for me...almost everyday there are things to be done, things that need to solve, things that requires great focus (which i obviously cannot do)...things mainly includes PPROJECTSS, caregroup, musicianship and....hmmm...i think that all that i'm responsible for...(excluding my family because they have been a very loving and supportive..love them lotz!!)

Almost everyday there are quizzes and project meets and submission that needed to be completed, and these are the things that i'm not confident about...

another major thing is my musician role in church....i have been contemplating in giving up the ministry because i really felt inadequate, especially playing bass....like yesterday, during the music pract, i was really struggling to hold back my tears as i wasn't able to play at all....there are pressure everywhere....i really want to take this time to thank jia shen and the other musicians for helping me and encouraging me....i wan to also say sorry to mei hwa (abigail) that i wasn't able to contribute my part due to lack of practice...

Caregroup is sth i was quite stressed about, but thanks to the partnership with ser meng (thanks bro)...i was able to went through the past few weeks....(i used to think that being a CL was easy-peasy...but i was dead-wrong!! Xp...)

back to the topic, throughout the whole period, as i recall i wasn't giving thanks to God in the appropriate situation or even giving in a sense...(dont be stumbled thou...it happens)...

i always thought that i was strong in faith to give thanks in EVERY circumstances...but i think this period really slapped me in the face and made me realized that i was in fact weak (despite of how strong i thought i was)...prideful me....tsk tsk tsk....

In short i was humbled once more by this whole experience....and i'm really taking faith to change in this area, to really humble myself more before the Lord, before my leaders....

since i know that im lacking in the area of thanksgiving, i will CHANGE and IMPROVE in my thanksgiving...

to end this post, i will like to post this qn, to answer this truthfully,

which is easier?

to give thanks in good times,

or

to give thanks in bad times....

I know that my answer is the initial one....hehhehhehheh!!

New experience for an old experience....

I'm really amazed at how God prepare my heart during the corporate prayer meet for Saturday service....

During the corporate prayer meet, when pastor jeff encouraged the whole church to take some time to pray for ourselves, to commit all the worries, burden and weaknesses to Jesus, for He will take them all...pastor jeff also encouraged us to use whatever ways that might help us express our feelings and emotions like sitting, kneeling or standing....I was ministered because I was once reminded of my worries for my academics, my burden for my people and my weaknesses in studying, leading and playing the bass....I was really praying with everything that my heart wants to pour out ever since the start of Sem 2.2.

Wow...as I'm writing this, I'm amazed that I rmb such things....hehheh....

Alot of things have been happening and sometimes I really hope that I can sleep this off, but I believe and trust that God wants me to learn and grow through this process....before harvest can happen on the outside, it MUST happen in me first....

For anyone who is reading this....for my classmates, schoolmates, churchmates and other around me...i believe that there might be some things that i might have done you wrong, or that there might be some misunderstanding....I really hope that you can approach me and talk to me about it, because I really want to learn and improve myself....I'm being open here, so do help me out here...Thanks in advance!! =D

Finally term test is over...last night service was cool...get to meet God and hear from Him....

This upcoming 2 weeks are going to be very messy and rushing because there are alot of things to be done, like projects and sowing and etc....I going to need as much strength and guidance as possible...so I'm drawing from the ultimate source....haha!!

I really hope that this 2 weeks is going to be fruitful, where harvest will come, both quality and quantity, in my life and those serving together this part of the kingdom....

Distractions...

Distraction are normally those things that tempts us to be misfocus in doing what we should be doing at that time....and it is happening to me so frequently nowadays....

Term test is coming and I'm still clueless about my subjects, not that I don't know about what I'm studying...but because I have totally no idea how to apply them to the questions...a lot integration from other topics is needed...and it driving me insane!!!!

Projects are another thing...but seems like projects are withdrawing so that the arrival of term test can be more obvious and depressing....HAha!!!

a lot of things are happening nowadays due to the stress and the way people destress...like me turning my head into red...haha...STRESS!!!!

As long as we remain on earth, we will still sin, no matter how good we try to be....but becos of Jesus, I know that I can break free from the bondage of sin and live of life that I'm supposed to live, a meaningful and fulfilled life....

Anxious and Excited!!

Just came back from leadership camp, really learnt alot from the camp, not just through the teachings and worship, but also through the lives of many other leaders that are serving the same God in the same congregation....

Share about something I learned in the camp....As I was talking to many leaders, like Nehemiah from RP, Ace from DI, Mei Hwa from TSPT, etc, I realized that no matter how simple the leader's strategy or conviction may be, or how detailed another leaders may be, they have that simple passion and motivation, which comes from the Love of God that was shed through the blood of Jesus, reminded by the Holy Spirit in our hearts....the reason why we serve and why we continue to persevere even though things may be tough is because of God's love...I felt that same motivation too....that is why when I see people from other campuses or units work for this passion, I'm so so SUPER encouraged....haha...

Last saturday was my first time playing on stage for electric bass and acoustic guitar....before 545pm on last saturday, my heart was running on a speed of immeasurable rhythm...all I can think of is when will it end....haha....I thank God that He helped me through the whole session, He literally helped me by making me oblivion to my surroundings...haha...

I'm really glad that I'm serving in this new ministry, because I really learnt alot from other experienced levites, like Nel, Kok Leng, Yao Ming, Jovin, etc...and the evaluation team was very gracious with their evaluation too...I thank God that I get to be part of that kind of godly team...=D

Let's go all out and break our respective 15s and 7s...LETS DO IT!!!! YEEAAHHH~~~

My mom wanted me to use the ESPRIT voucher, so after meeting up with SM, went to the ESPRIT at tampines mall...this are the few shirt I tried....

Anyway, when I was walking home a few weeks ago....at that time I was thinking about the my faith in God...because alot of changes is going on, and I really wanted a breakthrough badly...then when I was thinking and on the verge of giving up, I looked up and saw this.....

A cross in the sky made from clouds....you can imagine me just standing there and in awe...
then a small but clear voice inside said this, "whatever happens, happens for a reason, but know this, I'm in control, no matter how big or how small. If I can make a small cross appear specifically at that spot in this big sky, how much more will I not take care of you specifically."
I can recognise the voice, it's God's voice...

Thank You Lord!

It is a great way to start a day, oversleeping and not able to answer to my tutorial quiz qn....yup...it is such a great way in which I know that nothing is going get any worse....haha...

But guess what....

It did....

I went to my U-Theatre and really felt very bored and frustrated because we are supposed to present about the different kinds of theatre across history....and I was really want to finish my presentation today...but the first team took 1 HOUR out of the 3 hours of lesson, and almost every team later needs 20 mins to finish...my group was the 6th group and we didn't get to present because of time constraints...sigh~~

Honestly saying, I'm starting to hate my U-Theatre....you wanna know why, it is because my lecturer is very naggy and really wants to show off his abilities....but who can blame him right...he is ultimately our teacher who is very passionate about theatre...anyway...do you know that Mr Sonny Lim dances indian dance....it is really amazing...haha...

Something I want to say is that I hate doing projects, not because of the project-mates, they are very nice people, but I just hate the idea of not being able to do well and in the end dragging people down with me....but maybe this is why I need to do more projects...I think why I started to think this way is because of what happened during the time when I was in the organizing team for ASc week 0...I really gave my best, but the results are not satisfactory though....

Anyway...I'm starting to see how I overcome this fear as I give my best, with the help of my bestest best friend (Jesus) , He is always around me and whenever I need help, He will definitely be there to help me through...so until now...everything is going quite ok for me in my academics, just hope that I can score above GPA of 2 this time....haha...praying really hard!!!!...pray for me too!!!=D

Anyway...I started to work for this event managing company....I get to go into the airport transit area...because I'm working in the midnight shift...I get to slack alot during 2-5pm....because it is really EMPTY!!!!!....so if anyone is bored and wants to call me during that period...feel free to do so....I will be waiting...

Heard that Xiu Zhen and Ben Tan also started to work there too...this thing is getting more and more interesting....lets see how everything will turn out....

Thank God for today, because I know that He is testing me in my character and growing me....I will do my best to overcome my other obstacles...HaaHaa....=D

Amazing story....

Once there was this young girl, she lived in a home where her parents, in her sense, were too strict with her. You see, there were a few rules that was made in the house by her father, like not coming home after 12mn, no drinking until the age of 21, etc.

One day, the young girl got fed up with the rules and finally took up the courage and left home. At that time , she was still a teenager. Fortunately, she was able to get some connection and started working.

As a growing teenager, she is just like anyone who is curious and daring. She tried doing all the stuffs that she was once limited to do, having the mindset that she is finally freed from the bondage of rules. Things like drinking, staying out late, even driving at her age (she was barely past the legal age). She tried many stuffs and nothing seems to be happening to her. Until that fateful night.....

During one of the normal hanging out with her friends, she drank and partied. After all the partying, she got drunk as usual. However, this time round, it was her turn to drive her friends home. So in her drunken self, she started to send her friends home, one by one.

It was very late at night. She managed to send all her friends safely back home.....

She felt very drowsy and can't wait to go back to her dorm.....

Suddenly, in her drowsiness, she drove past a red light, knocking something down at the same time. She quickly stopped and got off, she saw a guy lying on the floor, with blood covering him and a blood pool beside. At that instance she thought she had done something really wrong.

The next thing that follow was the attendance to a court hearing. It was just a normal hearing, but to the young girl, it was the one to determine her consequences of her wrong doings.

Even before the young girl stepped into the courtroom, she was filled with guilt, remorse, and really thought that her life was over.

During the court hearing itself, it was filled with tension as the lawyers starts to fight one another to determine whether she was guilty and should be convicted. This did not make the young girl feel any better, but more worse about her guilt. As the hearing proceed, she knows that she has not a single chance of getting off clean. Moreover, she has already given up.

The hearing finally came to an end, after what the jury had decided, the judge finally came up with the verdict.....She was sentenced to pay for all the medical bills of the man she knocked over. As a young adult, she wasn't given any other sentences, but this sentence itself would have her bankrupt and her future totally ruined. The hammer knocked on the plate. It was set.....

Right after the verdict was given, the judge took off his robe, came down from the high table and walked towards the young girl. He then took out his own wallet, brought out a chequebook and wrote the exact amount of the fine, nothing much, nothing less and paid the fine. He then went towards the young girl and hugged her tightly. He whispered to the young girl's ear....

'It's all over, it is done.....daughter.."

He then carried her frigid body out of the courtroom and back to the bed that she used to sleep on before she left.

"I will always love you, no matter what happens..." He whispered and the young girl fell right into deep sleep. She has never slept so tightly in her bed ever since she left home....

Why did I write this story, haha....

It is because this actually talks about love, and it really reminds me of the love that God have to me...it is so so similar...

Therefore anyone who reads this, I hope u take some time to think about how God really loves u that He gave His one and only son for us as a ransom. It is not cheap but it is free. Think about it peeps...

The past week has been a rest week for me....taking time off daily little by little...haha...it is amazing how by taking a little rest can help someone sail through the rest of the day...haha...refreshed!

Something I realised is that for the past week, I have been so tired emotionally and spiritually that I allowed sins and temptations to take a hold of me...Things like anger and indifferent and sloth and insecurities....sub-consciously....it just seems like I have really wasted my week...haiZ~~

I want to thank my farmer for helping me with my daily QT...I think her supervision has really helped alot me to initiate personal time with God rather than leaving it to the end of the day...I want to train my self-discipline to do my daily QT at a pre-planned timing....=)

Yesterday during my creative arts ministry, I learnt more about doing bible study and discussion...but the main thing is that we really learnt how to discern the doctrine that we are exposed to in our daily life...like through all sorts of media and books, etc...had really a great time...

Sent a msg to my sheep and yet he didnt reply me...I have been trying to reach him for days....haiz...=(

Today I skipped my U-Theatre because I just cant seems to get my strength back from so many things that are happening...but still I kept on praying...I can feel my strength coming back slowly le...PRAISE GOD!!!...haha...

Went to the Nel's worker meet....after what she taught about how one man can change the world and how we can be that man and alot more things...it really sets me thinking about what I'm doing rite now...was really thrown back by what was said...took some alone time to think through...*just want to say thank you to those who showed concern...don't worry, I'm fine now...*

God spoke to me when I was spending some time alone with Him on the way home...He asked me this question...'What will you do with the anointing that I have given you and more that will come?' It really strucked me...maybe you can ponders about it too...

I think today was really was really filled with amazing things that are happening....

first it was the FPath term test...err...maybe that isnt too amazing...

but after that when I went to eat with my permanent friend....JANICE!!!!...and with Rachel too...haha...nice time chatting and hanging out...this is the first time in this sem that we met up for 2 days in a row....haha...

then went to the library to relax...knowing that when I go home I need to start studying again...haha...I was reading the encyclopedia of the DC comic heroes....haha...I think I'm quite childish...but still loving it...the interesting facts about the heroes...amazing.....

then went home...I went to buy dinner and ate in front of my lappie....then followed by my mom coming back home and talking to me...then my sister coming back home to....but not talking so much with me...

something really amazing and I'm so touched is that when I was still studying...around 2am....Ben tan called me....haha....I really love it when he calls....haha...he always shows me so much care and concern...

his main motive was to encourage and pray for me...and he did....I really felt so loved by him....

So School Starts again....

Second day to the new term of school, and i overslept for one of the lectures...CUI!!! T.T

One of the things i want to do when school starts is to attend for all the lectures...but seems like it is not going to happen...haaa...all i want to do now is to attend all the rest of the lectures....

help me in this if u wan...how?...give me morning call!!!!=D

anyway...the orientation week was great...had fun and know alot more ppl in school...haha.... Won the best cheer again!!....

As i look at my timetable, i was filled with joy...because my FRIDAY NO SCHOOL!!!!!!....so if anyone want to chio me go out or to eat breakfast or lunch...feel free to do so....muahahaha....

this sem I have an elearning subject, Fundamentals of pathology, which i think shldnt be elearning because it is one of the toughest subject (at least to me)...sigh~~

my cds is U-Theatre...just went for the first lesson...it was interesting...the teacher wanted to help us understand theatre.....by making us be involve in it!!!! so in short...my cds is a drama class...haha...

something i realised about my semester is that most of the subjects are 'non-biology' except FPath...so I'm quite happy about it...i have been struggling with 'biology'-typed subjects ever since i came into this course...

i think this is the part whr im gonna do some reflection...=P

this past few weeks have been a test of humility, obedience and making the right choices...i found out recently that i have been making alot of unwise choices through the consequences they bring...i think this is due to the fact that i have been allowing myself to let my emotions take me over...controlling me and overcoming me...forcing me to make rash decisions....i have not been obeying what God is telling me...becos they make me uncomfortable....i really need to humble myself down before God....pride cannot once again take me over...by God's grace it will not...

God, i pray that you will give me strength to overcome whatever that is obstructing me...things like pride and etc....i know im not able to overcome all these things by my own because of my sinful nature...therefore i need you more than ever to help me...you are my delieverer...praise and glory be to your name...help me to give thanks in all circumstances...whether good or bad...because you are ultimately in control...help me be stronger and more faith-filled in you. I pray all these in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

Thanks for being in my life, SisTa!!!!! I'm not saying this just because it is the most 'happening' thing to say in all birthday....but something that I really mean it....you are a strong sister in a sense that you know what u are doing and is willing to go all out for something u are convicted of....u are also a very cool sister that is willing to try on anything...things like sports and games (or just that i use to think that you are a bimbo...jkjk=P)....and more....

it has been great serving in the same ministry as u...becos u always give ur best and u persevered on and therefore it really inspire me to not give up so easily...like in choir and in pastorally....haha...u really are a talented sister that i think God has given to this part of his kingdom to serve...ur service towards the church and her people is greatly appreciated...so continue to serve...continue to run this race to the finishing line...we may not be serving in the same ministry in time to come...but ur impact is there...

lastly...jia you for things that u are doing...like studying in TP, outside jap lesson, etc....and for the things that is going to come...get ready sister...fruits are coming ur way....so continue persevering...God Bless!!!!!

Thanks Jay, for sharing so much to me today...I hope that our frenship will be able to last thru times of hardship...I'm sry that I've have not been contacting u for weeks...but I really enjoy my time with u...so lets continue to maintain it....=)

It is true that frenship itself is hard to maintain...especially when it seems like the other party don't seems to care much....but I believe that it is still worthwhile to have a fren that will be there for you...whether to help u celebrate your birthday or to be that person u go to when u have problems and just being there for one another...haha...

but sometimes ppl do out their securities on their frens...like whatever their frens say or do...they feel the obligation to comply...like fashion, music, food, etc....

something I found out about is that even thou I'm in church, it seems like I cant completely get out of the cycle of falling into this trap...however, I know that whenever I start to walk in this path of compliance...God is there to help me get out...one way or another, whether thru ppl telling me or just ignorance by ppl who I'm trying to impress or follow...

I think why God always pulls me out is because He wants me to enjoy and secure in being myself, no matter how much the ppl arnd me may look at me...it is when I'm who I am, I'm relaxed and satisfied....haha...

I really want to be what my name means, "Keith = The Secured One"......haha...

Truth be told....

What a nice way to start a sentence....

It would be so nice that if everything that was spoken to us is all true....haha...

I did quite unexpectedly this exams...I failed 2 subject...HPI and BMic...
Honestly, I really gave my very best for this 2 subject, I really studied like crazy...but I still fail this 2....haiz....really sth unexpected....

I really want to thank BenCh for encouraging me...
he said "haha if you didnt expect to fail but failed then it's a good sign you did your best."
It is really sth I needed...yes...and I will continue to give my best...=D

Today I had shpding with Px...it was really not bad....I expected it to be quite awkward but it turned out to be quite alrite...actually even better....haha...talked to her about alot of things...a few things...like that we dont really need to defend the truth, but we are defended by the truth...

Come to think about it...it is quite true...becos the truth itself is exclusive, therefore if anyth that comes up opposite cannot be called the truth becos it not...let me put it this way...a pure white sheet of paper, if black ink was used on the paper, it will be obvious that they are not the same...they will not blend together too...moreover, even off-white will look diff from the pure white....the truth is like the pure white, while black is the false and off-white is like partial truth but not the truth...this is sorta like that...

and if the truth can be so clear-cut, we wont need to make excuses to defend it....becos anyth wrong will be obvious...

haha...anyway....I shld be doing my journaling...shld keep myself a record of all the things i learnt...haha...

Anyway...I'm very excited for camp...both the Arete and OLTC...haha...cant wait...

Next week is Easter Special Service, cant wait too....i will be involved...so come and support!!!

Stressful times....

Haha...are in the midst of exams....Having HPI paper tml....the worst subject I'm taking....Sigh~

Last friday was BMic, was a fairly manage-able paper....hope I can do well....*fingers crossing*...

Then today was Cell B....*died terribly*....just pray that I can pass overall....

Oh ya....be4 I forgot....HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY ENG CHUN!!!!!!!Sorry have to ps u on sun...dont forget (also reminding myself) to get the birthday card from me tml after paper....cya!!!

The past week was one of the most challenging week in terms of discipline....I can't say that I really have complete discipline....but still improved in my focus and self-control...somehow....haha....YAY!!!....

Learnt about axehead....haha...figuratively....symbolising the power of the Holy ghost.....really need to find back whr I lost it...so if anyone saw whr I lost it....please come and approach...but pls be gentle....0 =D [angelic smile]....

Anyway...got to apply the previous sermon on handling stressful time....thanks to xy for reminding me again and again....handing them over to Jesus....yay!!...way to go man!....thanks!!!!

Trust is something I need to grow in....

The way I present my speech is another important thing in my life that I need to grow in too....while thinking back/reflecting....alot of incident I allow my speech to hurt ppl, when that is not what I want...so...I WANT TO CHANGE!!!!!....

BreakThrough!!!!!

Haha....This week is one of the most fruitful!!! breakthroughs all the way!!!!....

*sense of accomplishment*

Let me explain...this week started with mon!!!...Yay!!! (ok....maybe mon itself isnt that exciting)...

but...on mon, I went for HPI lecture (half an hour late) and later went for CellB lecture. Then went to the library to study but instead was hooked up with chatting...haha...a bit unfruitful la...then after that I went for the Performing Arts ministry workshop at America roon at somerset...learnt quite alot of things (like the way of warming up the whole body, and oso the way to make us expand our perspective on a subject)...

Then went home with Liyi....haha...after I went home, then I went to eat supper with Jeremy and Jay (we are called the standard Three!!!!)...haha....then went home....

On tues..quite late woke up...anyway...then I was at home and start to study (but oso watch a few animes and grey's anatomy...heehee)...watching electure for Bmic...haha....was preparing to do the online quiz....haha...then after that was at night then went to sleep....

On wed....I went to school for tut becos it is the tut day....haha....then had Bmic lab test....I really studied for the lab test...so I really was quite confident about it...(but the results may be otherwise...sigh~~..haha!!!!)...then if I'm not wrong, I went to eat dinner with some of the unit ppl...serene, hj, cm, kc, sm, wx, Lem, frog prince(glen)....then went home...haha...then sleep again....haha....

On thurs....overslpt the HPI thingy (felt very guilty now)...then was present for the Cell B dry lab test...haha....Then after that went to buy some styrofoam board to prepare the sat live publicity...then went back home to prepare for the valentine's cg at xy hse....the guys are supposed to cook for the girls...everything went well..haha...thank God...=)...then went home and do my storytelling portfolio and prepare the CSAS2 presentation....then went to sleep again...heehee....

On fri...went to school for the CSAS2 presentation....was graded one of the lowest...sigh~...did my best...so no regrets....haha...then went to the storytelling....submitted...and oso presented my assessment...story based on relationship...then I talked about me and my mom...the relationship....actually..after presenting my story...I really love my mom even more...I challenge anyone out there...do think thru all the things, like sacrifices and love and concern, ur parents did for u....it will really help u appreciate them even more and ur relationship with them will improve too....anyway...after school....I rushed home to do the publicity thingy....my bro helped me alot....thanks!!!...haha....managed to finish everything by 6....I mean 6am on sat....haha....

Then on sat...I woke up arnd 12plus...then do some finishes and then off to church....be4 that...my mom cooked fried rice....I can really tell you that my mom cooking rocks!!!!!....she always find things to improve on and make things better...not only on food, but also on appliances and etc...haha...thank God that He put my mom in my life...haha...really appreciate her...then I reached nexus...started to do the publicity thingy...didnt really went as successful but gave it my best shot...so...haha...=)...then during service taught about 'handling stressful times'...I was really happy....then went to eat dinner and drank starbucks (today was my sabbath, so I get to break my sweet fast...yay!!!!)...then went home with jeremy (actually wanted to eat supper with jay...but in the end he went to drink with his frens....sigh~~....) so me and jerm went home lor...

This is how my week went la....then....just to highlight a few things....This week is really a very stressful week...but all I can rmb is that I have been letting Jesus take control (since He is God and He is bigger than anything)...things like the 2 lab test, 2 presentation, and the 2 last-minute thingy....

The major things are actually the presentations and the 2 last-minute thingy....

I finish my slides for CSAS2 but I was not familar with the details...so I was sorta unprepared....and the storytelling...I cant think of anything that is about relationship...the story about my mom and I was really an impromtu speech....and worst of all...both of them is on fri!!!!...sigh~~...

The bigger things are the 2 last min thingy....the first one is cooking for the valentine's cg....I was informed about the cooking less than 24 hrs (wed's nite)....and it was not voluntary...the guys were volunteered by the girls...it was really very messy and actually I was very frustrated at the fact that I was not consulted when making the decision...bearing in mind that the cg is on thurs, and my 2 presentation is on fri....but this is oso the reason I have breakthroughs....I didnt go berserk or angry...but all I know is that I trusted in the Lord to make things fall together smoothly...cause I'm serving Him ultimately...so I was having peace...sorta rare at that kind of moment...in the end...everything went well...my 2 sheeps..Wei xiong and Kiat ming plus Xiao ying(Zeph) was very supportive...and we managed to pull it thru....yay...1st breakthru....

The 2nd breakthru is that the publicity thingy was decided on wed night too....that means I need to complete the whole publicity thingy by sat, with the valentine's cg in mind and the 2 presentations....but at that time....I was thinking....I need to stretch myself and get out of my comfort zone...so I took on the challenge....I was partly at fault becos I cant think of any solid idea be4 that time...then this idea came on wed nite...so ya...haha....once again...I didnt panic or go into mood swing...even thou I may be rushing abit....I was feeling the peace..that God will take care of everything....so I went ahead...with the help of my bro....it was done on time....yay!!!...

Both of the things might not be big or very mind-blowing....but the experience was exciting and satisfactory....I felt that I really have grow in my character...it might not be big....but big enough for me to take another step to grow....and I want to thank God for helping me by putting all this people in my life....=)..and oso for the peace....

This is all that I wan to say....It is long...but this is about the whole week...so...if were to cut into 6 parts, it will be just right....haha!!!!...

Just before Psycho Common test!!!!

Haha....I'm just an hour and more, away from my psycho common test...Still trying to finish up my revision....

Anyway...yesterday was combined cg....haha...Im the guitarist again...actually for only worship, becos I managed to push the praise to PX....haha....

The whole CG went very well....games by Engit1, then praise by KC, worship by PX, revelation of new structure and teaching by Ezri, not forgetting the behind the scene ppl like WX for printing the lyrics....and also everyone else who attended the cg....Pris, Rayna, Kalyne, Zeph, Serene, Lem, Jason, Tsu Yuan, Ser meng, Kiat ming, Sam, Ben tan, Stew, Rusty, Lik choon, Kanna, Robin....I think that is all who attended...haha...hope that I didnt miss out any....

I think it really fun...haha...anyway...after the CG...I went home becos it was quite late le...when I was walking home...I just begin to think thru about what is happening in my life recently....

Alot of things had happened....and just after Im past with the last few...new ones just come rushing in....sigh~

Something I wan to say is that I really treasure my cg, Engit3...it very fun to be in the mixed cg for the first time...I really want to say thank you to my shpd, Pris...for taking care of me so well...then for zeph...who was there when I needed someone to talk to....and my 2 sheeps...Wei xiong...thanks for supporting me until now...I have failed in taking good care of you....sorry....for Kiat ming...I wan to thank you for just being my sheep....it has been hard for you too ba...sorry....

I think that is all I want to say...haha...we may be separated but I believe that we will survive and grow even more....keep on keeping on.....haha....Jia You...=)

Sorry, I was just trying to run away from my quizzes..but seems like I have failed...haha...

I think quizzes and projects have been the things that are weighing me down...just need to get through a few more weeks....

I really hope to do well in my quizzes...and projects la...

The past 3 weeks or more have been a very torturous week for me...Mood swings all over (maybe I have bipolar disorder [Argh!!..not psycho again!!!]....)

For some reason I tend to think that I have split personality....but all just hypothesis [Argh!!!...sound so like MSt2!!!!...HELP!!!!]

Back to the past 3 weeks, I really want to thank Jeremy Tan (TertiaryNS) for talking to me in the middle of the night, helping me find the real me.

To say the truth, ever since I came to know Christ, I have been asking God to reveal the real self to me. But I know that everytime God tries to reveal, I always run away....maybe too ashamed...

but 3 weeks ago, I was 'forced' to face my real self. At that very moment, I feel very exposed...like I was sorta naked or etc. (but I'm not...dont think too much...*cheeky fellow*)...

I was struggling to recover from that 'exposed' experience...and it really took me almost a month...

*so anyone who actually came in contact with me the past few weeks, if I offended u in anyway, I apologise...Sorry!...*

right now, I'm still picking myself up and learning to adapt to the real me...but all I know is that God has been there, holding me in His delicate hands, pruning and at the same time protecting me....

I want to thank you, Jesus, for being there....and I also want to thank all those who were there to support me....Jeremy, Pris, zeph, jian zhi (Jay), and those others...I really thank all of you for being there, even just to hear me pour everything out...thanks...this really mean alot to me.....

so other than picking myself up, I shld be studying too...I really want to do my very best so that I dont have regrets...I want to be excellence, not a perfectionist.....

Anyway....It has been quite long that I have updated my blog...not that I dont want...but just dont feel like it.....

Moreover....everytime I pass by this blog, I get bitten by the mosquito that is infested here....=P....

Haha....alot of things have happened arnd my life....ppl facing problems....how I see them one by one overcoming them....me facing my own weaknesses....and how I am really trying to overcome....

All this sure have been draining my energy....even thou all this, I still appreciate all this that have been in my life....moulding in for the greater plan....

It then boils down to whether I know it(the plan) anot....sometimes we might not know it but be sure that we are IN it.....Still on my journey of finding.....knowing that it is slowly revealing....hahaha....=)

The past week isnt that fun....

It has really drained me out....I tried having a break...but due to my buziness.....I forgot....

It has really been a stressful week.....all the things popping up....and lots more of disappointment....

One of the things that really bothers me is that on last fri, the deadline I'm supposed to meet was delayed due to my carelessness.....I lost the saved file in my lappie and I had to redo everything(not everything, Jordan did another half).....but it really took me alot of time....

It is not that I dont want to submit on time....just that how could ppl stop the amount of things coming up....JAP FINAL EXAMS, NOT BEING ABLE TO COPE, UNABLE TO HANDLE MY FORGETFULNESS, MEETINGS...but mainly was the jap final exam....

My jap final exam is important due to the fact it takes up more than the other tests adds up for my promotion to the intermediate level.....If I were to fail this promotion, I will be wasting more than $300 on it for nth....

I really need a very big break....and I need it fast!!!...I wonder how long I can survive with my 'half-emptied bowl of water'.....Its time to reach down deep for the WATER!!!!!!....HELP!!!!!!

Seems like it has been quite a long time since I wrote anything on this blog....Anyway....Since I have started this blog....I shall continue.....Muahahahahaha(Evil Laughter).....

It has been a great week for me....I mean this few weeks....

Leadership camp was great....I really learnt more about myself and how to really do sth to make myself a better person.....I also learnt about diff kind of methods to deal with HR(human relation)....

Honestly I want to be a better person....lol.....and seems like I just cant do it my way anymore....since I have been using my way all my life and it doesnt seems to be working....lol...and just why am I laughing at myself....I shld feel pathetic....Lol....I mean....*sob*...T_T....=D.....

OK!!!...No more contridictions already!!!!

Anyway....It was busy and real stress this week becos of the projects and ministry and application of what I learnt during camp and getting ready to start school....All this are like drowning me....I really felt like giving up sth that doesnt seems fruitful in my life.....but carrying out my responsibilty and persevering on is my style.....When I on to sth(e.g. joining a cca)....I wld hold on until I have done my job.....yup....and sometimes it just clobbers me up....sigh~

One of the things I want to start doing is to start saying 'No!' to those things that are presented to me but are not going to benefits me but to give me more stress....Yup!!!....I have made up my mind....I will start doing this....I WILL HAVE BREAKTHROUGHS!!!!!!YAY!!!!

One last thing.....I cant possibly do all this and know whether sth is good for me or not....for I'm not all-knowing.....so I'm gonna get some help from above(which is God)....becos He is all-knowing and almighty!!!...AMEN!!!!....Guide me, Oh Lord!!!.....(Preettty PPleeassee?!?!?!)....=D

I miss the Hope people in Penang!!!!!

For those who did know where I went to for the past 7 days....I shall say it here....I went to Penang!!!!

Honestly the Hope people in Penang was super hospitable....they brought us up and down with their cars(even though the car petrol was quite expensive to them).....I really amazed at how they welcome us to their home and make it so warm and cosy....it really makes people not want to leave there.....

During this penang trip...I really enjoyed and learn alot from this people who desired to learn and grow so much.....I myself am quite ashamed 'cos compared to my life in Singapore....but Im certainly going to grow.....

The experience there was just amazing and wonderful to be explained here....if anyone is interested...please come approach me....

The pictures will be up soon....and I STRONGLY encourage those who havent went for any missions trip and is considering....STOP THINKING AND JUST GO!!!!!!!!

LOL!!!!...that's all....quite tired and really learn to be disciplined to sleep early....lots of breakthroughs!!!!

Thank You Lord this great opportunity to visit the church in Penang. I'm really inspired by them and they really did made an impact in my life. Continue to bless them and I pray for Penang that the fruits will grow and the wineskin to contain it will be stronger and alot more bigger. Thank you again for this great experience and I pray that I will not forget this. I pray all this in Jesus' name, AMEN!!!

I'm super impressed by the Thai Band during the JUMP! conference....The way they impart their spirit....really convinced me to do something for God.....Thank God for Pastor Prayu(dont know how to spell the name) and his team.....=D

One thing that made me very burden is that I myself is very contradictory to myself.....Knowing much is not really a good thing sometimes.....not to boast....but it is true....what you know may sometimes clobber you up and make u even more confused compared to when u dont know anyth....

'But what my heart dont want to do, that my sinful nature kept doing....'

This is one of the quote I recall.....I think this what I felt when I was spending time alone with God....It was tough because my heart wants to admit and change but my sinful nature doesnt allow me.....even my heart deceitful sometimes.....I will have depend everything on the Lord, My God....

One thing I want to learn is to be humble, patience and more gracious.....as I thought through what a close bro of mine taught me.....I think it really needs to be lived out in me.....

As I ask God for harvest....none is going to come until I fixed my eyes on the Giver Himself.....for there can be no harvest if what I want is self-centred......

SoOOOO FUN!!!!!

Lol....Just came back from my church 16th anniversary special service.....it was super fun and super hyper!!!!!!

If u all didnt know(since no one came to support me...T_T).....I was singing as choir for my church anniversary team....it was super coool.....

We have extended P&W....where a band from our Mother church, Hope Bangkok, came to play for the second half of the P&W....It was amazing....the saxophonist played an indescribable tune that really touched my heart.....

I sang for 2 services....One at 3pm....another one at 7pm.....During the second service....it was super high.....during the P&W....the worship pastor just took the front row and started to do a 'train' all arnd the stage.....the whole choir then was prompted to join in....we did and we ran arnd the whole stage....the ppl standing at the ground oso did the train offstage....it was very out-of-the-box kind of praise that I never expected....and just for information....the worship pastor was 56 YEARS OLD....but he danced for God like us young ppl.....WOW!!!!

I really think that God really did wonders for this 2 services.....Praise The LORD!!!!!

During the Finale for the 2nd service....the choir was supposed to stand at the platform to sing as a choir....guess what....the whole stage ministers just went crazy and did the train....this time round it was an explosion!!!!....in the end we continue singing from where we stood(which is not the platform)....we were all scattered around the whole stage.....but we just dont care....praising the Lord is alot more important than our position.....We did an encore of 'Majesty' and it was over the roof!!!!!.....

After the whole thing....my group went to subway to eat....marcus(from work; stella's son) joined us...quite alot of fun....went home and here I am blogging.....lol....anyway...I shall get all the pictures and post it up here....but if im not wrong...it is all after the 2nd service....lol...oh well...

Another thing coming up will be JUMP! Concert hosted by the BangKok team alone!!!!..Cant wait....anyway....If anyone interested and is free this coming Mon....730pm to arnd 10pm....pls contact me....it will be another fun time!!!!!...come join me!!!!...

I have been quite busy because I went to work on tues, thurs and fri. And the working hrs are like the whole day. So I think that is why I didnt post anything.

Anyway talking about my job, it is one of the most interesting job ever(and worthwhile). This is because it is about games. It is in Suntec City. Name of the event is Games Convention Asia 2007(GCA '07). Even thou I expected the whole thing to be talking about game's stuff, it also consist of business thingy, mobile thingy(like nokia), etc....

Overall the whole thing has given me a not bad feeling(except for the early worktime). Moreover, everything was worthwhile because they pay us $7 per hr!!!!

However, I seemed to be using more than what I earned. Let me break it down:

Semi-Acoustic Guitar: $230
Mission Trip to Penang: Less than $300
Anniversary outfit: Less than $20

And the money I earned thru the convention work: Around $200

Therefore I need to announce that I'M BROKE!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, ppl who I invited for my church anniversary at downtown east mar'qee this coming Sat(15 sept), pls do come down and support me and my church Choir!!!...pretty pls!!!!!....thanks!!!!!=D

My Sem exams just finished and super happy now!!!!...

On thurs after MSt1, went to Kbox with Prestentia(LTC group)....Random Queen sang very good lor....dont play play with her.....

Then celebrated Wei xiong's birthday on fri and sat.....on fri...the cg went to settlers' cafe at nite to play and eat together.....it was fun.....

On sat....we presented our presents, our cards, birthday cake to wei xiong....I think he was quite touched when he found out that our cg gave him a handphone(basic one la...)....we thought about it for very long and think that handphone to him is not a want but a NEED!!!!!....

Everything went well even though may not be in my plan......

Another thing....for those who are reading my blog and is from Engit rite....I wan to say that I sry that I may be quite short-tempered on Fri and Sat....becos I was very anxious...but it is still not an excuse....I will try to change....Thanks for understanding.....=D!!!!!

I think that God still did help me alot in all this areas in my life that is weak....I just learnt that whatever trouble I encountered, God definitely have a reason....And it is the fact that my God isn't a sadist or a joker....that will play ppl's lives....but He do all things for the good of my being....=D!!!!

It is a wise choice for me to choose God...Amen!!!!

Oh my!!!!

Exams is in a few days time and I haven't really completed any of my studies!!!!!

I'm going to be so CUI!!!!!!....T_T

I really need some help from above.....

Today there is choir....and it was very fun....sang 'Till I See You' in parts(singing tenor)...the comments given was quite fair...but one thing bothers me....I felt that I'm not straining even thou I'm showing it...is it straining anot ar???....

The adults who sang some christmas song(I forgot the name of the song), my sis and louis' grp was great!!!!...=D

I really hope that I can do more things for God!!!!...=D

This few days had been very comfortable for me....too comfortable for me that I start to feel uncomfortable....Lol...oh well....ever since the event about my grandma...things have started to go back and function....my aunt just gave birth to a baby girl....I'm dealing with exams...everyone going back to their own school....

Even thou losing a loved one is painful and hard to get over...but there is one thing that I really think is true...we can't just stick to the past...feeling emo is nice...however if it is going to affect my studies and other impt things....I rather lose the feeling.....

I'm surrendering my emotions, in exchange for better things....not sure what but surely it is going to be better and more enjoyable....

Even thou my grandma havent heard of the good news yet but I still wanted to pray for her that Jesus will welcome her into His kingdom.....I really want to see her in heaven and catch up with her....

Heh heh....Jus came back from church choir pract...quite interesting.....separated into groups of 6 and discuss about wat to sing during our grp presentation....

My grp contains Jon Quek, Carrie, Georgia, Timothy, HuiLi and Me....and we decided to sing 'Till I See You' by Hillsong...that's not what's diff...it is the parts(tenor and alto) that is diff...sigh~

Before I went to bathing...I looked at my hair and saw the works of Ain & Erin....It is so interesting to see myself change in the style(as in hair styling)...and a random thought came to me....

'What is worse than a man with no blessings, is a man who take his blessings for granted'.....that's a quote I heard from somewhere.....

My world is filled with blessings that God put into my life....I didn't really thought about for quite a long time and it just came to me....I'm surrounded by alot of gd frens...reliable frens....in church, in my class(A7B8), family member, secondary sch frens and many others....

Many experiences explains it all....like the recent one that my classmates help me style my hair....if you know me....I would have told u(if not, this is for you) that I'm a fashion idiot....so this kind of things will not come to me one....

We were at the KFC near the 24 Hr Mac at tampines interchange...after eating...Ah beng was styling his hair and was asking Ain to help him style...She did and after that becos Jan and Ayu wanted to see how I will look if I style my hair(and at the same time have fun)...they took Ah Beng styling Mud and started to make my hair....these are a few more - in side views....

My day was really fun and interesting...but I still need to prepare tml PIPC Quiz....I hope I really do my very best...

Week Full Of foolishness!!...

I think this week is ok....other than a few foolishness that I made....but this week is still overall-ly enjoyable....

I think a few things I can and will blog about is like how I felt fun in the midst of tiredness and complexity....compared to my previous post...this post shall be quite toward the optimistic side....=)

This week I have been waking up very late and not being very fruitful with my time(feeling guilty as I'm typing this blog)...like I missed a few impt lectures, didnt work out as I planned(on wed)...and my appetite is like getting worse every passing day....shld be due to my inconsistency in my body clock...

And I oso found out that my class buddy and I have something that we both have encountered and greatly affected us...but one thing for sure...we are both unable to control it...however all I can say is that I believe God really has a plan in giving us this situation....

New things seems to be drowning me every single day making me feel as if I can't breathe properly...still wondering will I be able to cope with all this....but at least one thing for sure....I got Jesus to hold my hand and lead me through...not just by my own small part of the picture but by someone who knows the bigger part of the picture....=D

It is a fact that no human being on earth can FULLY understand how you or I really feel....but at least for me...I got someone who FULLY understands how I really feel...*Relieve*~....

Im now at the school's com lab typing this post....

This week is one of the most stressful week because there is FOUR test!!!!!....

Hope that I would be able to do my best and oso to achieve my best lor....

On tues, found out that Desmond from northeast got a new guitar(that cost arnd $300) for only $50!!!!....He was telling how God really ans his prayer 'cause 1 week ago he just prayed for a new acoustic guitar....so....Im really amazed and hope that God will also ans my prayer(quite long)...=D

God has been good to me all along....just that sometimes I tend to ask for more la....=P....but for good purposes la...don't believe??...ask God lor....=D....

You may be wondering why I suddenly have this post...but I just can't contain it....God is so so so real....'why' you may ask....read on....

I was on msn chatting with benCh then he asked me to go and take a look at one of my church brother's blog....Brendon(from yhope)....I was so super amazed like how he grew from last time to now...it is so amazing!!!!!..... I was thinking thru....after reading his post...I feel as if I'm really unexcited to do wat God wants me to do.....WHERE IS MY ZEAL!!!!!!......compared to Brendon's....I feel like I lost my 'first' excitement....like my first time having my own sheep, first time teaching.....I totally feel as if doing this things is becoming more and more like a routine.....sigh~.....

I think God really has a Plan for me....for me to read brendon's blog...and at arnd the same time I am changing to another grp......I really think that God really wans me to start anew the feeling and the excitement and the ZEAL!!!!!!!!! Praise the LORD!!!!!!! HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!=D

God, my dear savior, nth can really compare to wat u have done for me out of love. All I can say is that I want to fully surrender myself to the plans that u have so divinely and specifically designed for me. I also pray that all the brothers and sisters and everyone arnd will also realised ur great plan for them. I know every plan is different and unique, just like the characteristic and personalities u put in every individual one of ur creation. Help and guide along and always be with them cause without u, nth will ever be the same, things that we may take it for granted. Praise be ur name oh Lord and put this prayer into ur all-loving arms. Lol.....today is thursday but I'm going to blog about the last saturday thingy.....LTC!!!!

To start I wld wan to say is that it is SO SO SO TIRING!!!!!.....Dont know whr to start....but one of the most memorable event thru out the whole camp is that my grp...'PRESTANTIA'....is very united in all sorts of ways....one example is that we really gave our very best to brainstorm and help in the proposal....even thou there may be abit miscommunication and many rejections....but everything was very successful....really thnx Raquel for staying up the whole time to help us put the proposal into words.....and oso thnx the 3 other guys(Zan Xi, Joash & Yao Li) who carried me for such a long trip during the last task....to conclude the whole thing....we all have some fun within the suffering like becoming random and high~~~....lol.....We did complete 3 out of 4 tasks...YAY!!!!!!...

Really hope that all of us can get into the Sub comm and work together again!!!!!......thnx also to Grace, Azwan and Mr Mark Tan.....all the best everyone....jia you...=D

This post is about yesterday so...this is it...

Miraculously, I did wake up and attended the Math Stats 1 Lec....If u know me(and maybe my timetable)....I seldom attend maths stats lec. The 1st reason is becos it is like always the earliest lec of the day that starts like arnd 8 or 9am....and I always oversleep...like waking up arnd 830am...so by the time I reached, it wld have been over....The 2nd reason is becos I have taken AMaths in sec sch and wat I learning now in Math Stats 1 is the same....so no point me turning up...but I think my term test prove to me that even thou I learnt the syllabus be4, if I dont attend and refresh my memory, I'm going to flunk my paper...

Anyway....another thing is that I actually read thru my notes be4 attending for HAP tut. It is not that I normally I dont read, but becos I got STM, so I wld always forget things one.....But during the HAP tut I benefited alot and really got more interested in studying HAP and other subjects....=)

During CommSkills1(CSAS), our tutor told us alot about the upcoming tests and practicum.....and I also got to find out who I will be working with during the practicum....and the people are all quite fun and very enthusiastic....I like to work with this kind of ppl becos they all contributed alot....*for ah beng...no hard feeling ar*.....

Yup....after sch went to church choir practice at nexus....quite fun....not much practising but all just to have fun and know more ppl....after pract....went to eat with des, hui juan, jol, qian jin, shaun, and Sida.....talk and went home together with jol and hui juan...lol....fun....

An Emo-day~~

Today had been one of my emo-days that I ever experienced in my tertiary life. Why did I say that lehz...Becos I have been hit by alot of revelation, whether is my church thingy or my interpersonal thingy....

Dont really feel like posting anyth...just pray that God can comfort me.....T_T....

After a whole day of emo-ing, I came home and had a very warm and loving bowl of noodle cooked by my mom....take a look:

Can you imagine the feeling when no one really knows how you feeling? Then suddenly have one of the most nicest food and warmth feeling. It just seemed like everything just melt away and all the pessimistic views are all gone....It just dawn upon me that even though the love of man is so imperfect compared to the love of God, it has already touched and changed us so much. Imagine the change and the gratefulness when God's love is upon us....That is so wonderful man.....Sigh~~~

Confusing day~~~!

Today has been a very confusing day. Maybe it is just that God works quite differently from my expectations. Sometimes our perspectives can be different from His because He sees the bigger picture than what we sees.

Anyway, why am I so confused? Ermz...how do I put this...I woke up late for class today but yet I'm told that I'm quite early. This is not the main thing. The main thing is, after the lunch, everyone seems to be very distanced away from one another. I mean, like sorta the whole class went to eat together at long john and everyone looks fine. But just after the lunch when everyone was at the lab, it seemed as if a big quarrel just happened. I didn't really know cause I went back home to take my lab coat. But it feels weird overall. (I think it will be good if someone tells me sth..sigh~)

Yup....Don't feel like posting long blogs(due to alot of feedback)....So signing off here....NicKeith...=P

What A Day!!!!! O.O!!!

Guess where I am now.....lol...I'm in my school com lab. You may be wondering why am I using the school com when I can use my house com to update my blog.....well, because my sis has been using the com to watch her drama series and that it has been quite a while already. Not being able to blog is still alright, but what is so frustrating is that I can use the com to study my HAP(I mean watching electure) and also to check out the latest update on school assignments and more fruitful things compared to the drama series.

Sigh~ I think ever since we started out this 'first-on-first-use-all-day' scheme, it has been a disaster to my siblings. Fortunately, my bro got a laptop so the com is shared between me and my sis. But it is still a very discontented feeling because both of our needs on the com increased due to the addition use of IT in our schools.

Anyway, let me blog about my school work. I just started school again(if five days means just started). Got back my results of quite a few subjects already. Out of the 3 papers I got back(Com. skills, Biochem, PIPC), I failed biochem and Com.skills and got 44.5/50 for my PIPC. I was quite sad and emo about my first 2 failure yesterday because I really did my best in studying but it came out not as expected. Today was different, I got back my PIPC and got 2nd highest in class. I was quite encouraged as I really did my best(I did my very best for all my tests..=D). Yup!!!...very glad but it still doesnt cover the fact that if I fail 1 more subject, Dr Vijaya there I go.

Actually throughout so many things that happened, I grew in having patience and in doing my best so I dont regret. I also felt that alot of things has been bugging me, not just about my own growth in maturity but alot in feeling the burden in helping others. The burden is scary and heavy because it will require alot of sacrifices, therefore many ppl dont dare to lift it up and make it personal. It is either you feel nth or very heavy.

In addition, I want to say is that if anyone is offended by me in any way, pls come and let me know. Because I really hold friendship in a very high position in my life. Help me grow too!!!!!!...Thnx =P...

What a Day!!!!

Today was great(not including the fact that I woke up at 1pm again...T_T). I went tampines blk 800+ to eat lunch be4 heading toward school for track. When I reached the sport complex, I thought I was alone becos it was still quite early. So I decided to do some organising of my thoughts on a notebook I bought earlier. After writing everything down then I realised that my fellow track ppl are on the other side chilling.

During track, we ran 1 round around the bedok reservoir as warm-up(the coach wanted it). Coming back we did our stretching. Later the coach did filming of our running movements and evaluated one by one. Not much of training was done but we did realise our frames and how our movements look like, so as to help improve. During cool down, we saw a very nice colour in the sky due to sunset and a rainbow. By the time I wan to take photo, it was gone. But this are a few pictures of sunset I took in Tp.

I hope I do improve after this. After track, I went to bath at the changing room(first time). It was very refreshing and very comfortable becos I always feel sticky and smelly after track. Then I rushed off for meeting with my church frens.

During the meeting, I learnt quite alot about myself and about prayer. Seemed like prayer is not only in church(becos God is not only in church), but also required in our daily lives. God really wants to bless us, all we need to do is to ask. Anyway, have quite a few harsh chat with Ben(my shepherd) and realised more about my communication skills. Need to improve man Nick!!!!

Today has definitely been one of my most satisfied day. Not in the way of eating, drinking but in learning. This may sound abit weird but I'm finally absorbing what my jap teacher is teaching. All along I needed extra revision but this time I got it thru. Maybe becos that my jap teacher is teaching the same stuff in different application, but it still made me feel that I really achieved sth out of this jap lesson I've attending. I hope that I will continue to absorb and also take my mom's advice, which is to take time revising, rather than slacking and watching tv....(*Key word : HOPE...=P)

Another thing that happened today is that I was super late for Xueting's meeting. I'm really sry about that(very paiseh becos everyone was waiting for me to start). During her meeting, I found out that my CG is very unbonded(if ever there was a word). Sigh~~but one thing that spur me to really want to bond the grp is that if no one is doing that, why not start it(heard it frm somewhere, seemed like I forgot whr...=P). It is really true and one thing for sure, social maturity has nth to do with having and being a fun and attractive grp. Jia You Engit1!!!!!!

I also went to look for Kerlyn, Pei Chyi and Catherine to study at the airport. But not for long be4 I suggested tat we go Joleen's hse to study(becos the airport too cold..Brrrrr~). On the way to her hse, found out that my family has gone to the hospital to visit my grandma, so I joined them. found out alot of things that really made me sad. Sigh~~(2nd time) I pray that my grandma wld receive better care frm now on.

"But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.

Anyone who read this passage, this is just a gentle reflection point. Think through how you are sowing the gospel. This verse talks about that you might think that you are sowing well but are you sowing the wheat or the weeds. Especially leaders of the Kingdom, think of how you are leading your people. This verse also talks about how grps may seem like growing but not as wheat(righteous) but as weeds(unrighteous). God may allow your grp to grow due to your hardworks but is it in the right way? Do evaluate and reflect. =)
*This is just a Rema Word that came to my mind. Got it from the camp I crashed and really hit me...=D

A day of stress and disappointment~

Actually this post is supposed to be posted yesterday, but my sis wanted to use the com desperately that she will pester me every few mins to ask me whether she cld use. So being a good and nice bro, I let her. =P

Anyway, back to my post, My mom was at home becos she was not feeling very well the previous day. When I woke up(which is arnd 1pm+), she just came back from the doctor. The very first thing I saw when I woke up was sms that told me that there is Planet Shakers concert and the person have tickets asking me whether I wan to go anot. But I didnt reply la, thinking that most prob I will not be going lor becos I need to decide between Track BBQ, the concert, staying at home for dinner, go IKEA with ben. Guess what I chose.....yup, dinner at home.

After waking up, I felt very excited becos I know that my church is having a special service called unexpected valentine the next day and it is going to be about love and etc. There will also be love song presentation, dance performance and drama etc so I was looking forward in attending. I also did invite alot of ppl down for this interesting event but seems like no one is interested. Alot of rejection from frens arnd, I mean like thinking about it, ppl are afraid to go to church becos they think church is a boring place(sth like lecture) but it is not. It is alot more fun than just what ppl see on TV. Actually this is why I felt so disappointed la. The end result, will be going to this special service alone....sigh~

Throughout the day I did alot of things that has no results like I went to maple clinic for reconsultation for my facial but the doctor is away until 19 June so I returned back will nth achieved.
Then I went to the big bookstore and wanted to get some notebooks but I found out that I have no enough money. Thinking that I have some popular voucher left I decided to go popular but found out that I didnt bring. So headed back home like this lor.

On the way back home, my bro called and told me that grandma has just been sent to the hospital and we will be going to visit her later the night. So I did my best to reached home asap and prepare to go visit my grandma. I then found out that she was sent to the hospital becos she felt very weak and request to be sent to the hospital for checkup. I felt a bit more relieved la. Went to the hospital and learnt that grandma will be staying there for 2 more days for more checkup. After the visit, my family, Yuqi and her mom went to eat at the 24h prata shop(near my hse). Was there until 1am then we went back home.

The day is filled with alot of unexpected things for me and alot of fruitless trip and effort. But as I reflect upon my day, I found out that God's presence in my life is so tangible becos as I felt hopeless, He gave me hope, when I felt blown away by the information I received, He hold me tight and comfort me. Honestly, even thou I feel hopeless and insecure about what is going to happen alot of times, God did not give up on me and let me fall alone. But He is always there to support me. Whether we like it anot, God is always around us(He is omnipresent), and He always thinking of the best of us. I alway say this, we are not perfect but God is and since He is, why not let him guide us. God is not a control freak but a good and patient teacher.

Starting A new blog - Exciting???

This my first blog, and I actually wonder am I going to sustain it anot....Lol......

Anyway, today was a very fun day. First, Ben Chan(BenCh.) came to my house to stay over last night because it was quite late after we came from the youth camp(we wanted to crash the concert but in the end dont have) and Ben has no bus to go back. So I invited him to stay over. Had a great time spending time together at night. Eating and talking and listening to music etc. One very amazing thing is that we prayed for each other during the night and it was very refreshing. Ben was almost aslpt be4 we prayed but after prayer, he was very energetic and we started to play 'stress'. But not be4 long, he fell aslpt. Lol!!!!!

Ben woke up at 10am and finished my Harry potter and the goblet of fire(skipped a few chapters) and I woke up at 2pm(drastic diff rite?)....lol....we went to burger king to eat and after that we went our separate ways(he went home, I went to bukit batok).

I was at bukit batok to help Alvin Timothy with his Final Year Project on new media. I made alot of new frens, ppl like Gerald, Shirley, Yi Chen, Gushan(dont know whether im spelling it rite) Vanessa, Louis, Fish, Valerie, Jane, Randall. Actually the filming was very fun as we have alot of ngs and etc. Finally finish filming today and they producers are super happy.Lol, happy for them too. After filming was around 1130pm, so I took cab home with Gerald and Randall(paid by the Gerald, Thnx). Accompany Gerald to buy prata be4 going home. Reached home arnd 1230am midnight. Done my regular housechores i.e. changing the water and boiling fresh water. Now i'm writing this post lor.

Actually one honest feeling, during the camp's worship on wednesday, God gave me a word to encourage and challenge the whole freshies who had just transferred to tertiary to 'seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all others will be given to you.'I told this challenge to the tertiary ppl who crashed the camp. Where has our passion in youth gone to, our passion that really lives out the verse. Those ppl who are there when we prayed and intercede for our frens, dont forget that we are the only one who will do that, if we dont, no one else wld. And also to use actions to live out our faith. For 'Faith without actions is dead'. I'm very excited for this Sat because is our special service that was planned long ago, so lets invite our frens down so that they may enjoy this service and experience God too. Jia you!!!!!
